Welcome to Syspirit! This blog is my technical logbook where I share my experiences, discoveries, and learnings in the world of system administration.

I'm Karl — a systems and network administrator passionate about Linux, automation, and new technologies. I started as a support technician before moving into system administration. I didn't have any formal training in Linux or DevOps: I learned on the job, thanks to helpful colleagues, my curiosity, staying up-to-date with tech news, and my HomeLab that runs continuously.

Today, I'm achieving my first concrete results in automation and DevOps. I've got the basics down, but I know there's still so much to discover. That's exactly what motivates me: continuous improvement and tackling technical challenges.

This blog is my way of continuing to learn, testing new technologies, being more rigorous, and sharing my notes: from quick tips to more comprehensive tutorials.
